I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual therapy, and I maintain a private practice in Santa Cruz, California.
I am a graduate of the John F. Kennedy University clinical counseling program where I received my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. I also received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Prior to licensure I completed an internship at Family Service Agency of the Central Coast in downtown Santa Cruz, and was a trainee with the Pajaro Valley Prevention and Student Assistance program in Watsonville, CA.
I am an interactive, solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges and lead richer, fuller lives. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
